MobileWorlds Festival
The MobileWorlds Festival (in Bergen on 26. and 27. September) invites you to question the ways you’ve thought about mobilities so far. From the transportation you use every day, to the ways you break out of usual ways of thinking, and the impact of moving across countries or between social groups.
Day 1 of the Festival includes 5 key elements: a presentation of the international MobileWorlds Project; a talk & interview with Marina Magerøy, section leader in Sustainable Mobility at Bymiljøetaten, of Bergen kommune; a brief performance & interview with Roseanne dos Reis, actress and artist; a playful workshop to explore your own mobility potentials; a photographic exhibition; and drinks.
Day 2 of the Festival includes 3 key elements: a Zine-making workshop to depict what must be included in future (alternative) mobilities in Bergen. Ages 9-99+ welcome! (Children accompanied please), Lunch; the photographic exhibition; an artistic closing. English, with Norwegian support.
Note: If you can not participate in Bergen, there wil also be an online edition on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of October. More information here.
