Field of work
I am a clinical social worker and specialist in family therapy and have my PhD in grief and social health. In recent years, I have been head of section and department at the Department of Welfare and Participation, which has study programs and research in social work and social science, child welfare, social care, family therapy and relational work, and interdisciplinary mental health and substance abuse work.
The topics I teach are related to dialogic practice and Open dialogue, substance abuse and addiction, treatment processes, family and network therapy, systemic theory and practice, grief processes and research methods. In addition to teaching and research, my work experience from couples and family therapy as well as the field of substance abuse and addiction where I have worked with team management, project management and professional development is related to the involvement of family and social networks in follow-up and treatment. I also have further education in counselling pedagogy and Gottman couples therapy method, in addition to a master's degree in family therapy and systemic practice.
