Partners gather for first workshop in Sogndal 25-26. April

In the Repeat project, we are working to find new models for sustainable management of peatlands in cooperation with the most important societal actors in this arena. Therefore, we are gathering partners from public administration and interest organizations for a joint survey of how we perceive peatlands, and what challenges we face when we plan and implement various measures in peatlands.

In addition to the project management, representatives from Flå and Stad municipality, the State Administrator in Oslo and Viken and the State Administrator in Western Norway, the Norwegian Energy and Watercourse Administration, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, SABIMA and ViteMeir will participate.

The workshop will result in a report that will form the basis for further work in the project. There are plans for two more workshops; one for international research partners at the end of 2022, and one for the entire research consortium towards the end of the project period (in 2024).
