Geoffrey Sean Gilpin

Field of work

Associate Professor Geoffrey Gilpin's teaching contributs to three study programs; the interdiciplinary BSc. Renewable Energy (Sogndal campus), and the engineering programs BSc. Sustainable Production and Circular Economy and MSc. Sustainable Energy Technology (both Bergen campus), along with the supervision of BSc., MSc. and PhD. students. Gilpin holds a master degree (2006) in mechanical engineering from Germany. In 2016, he received his doctoral degree in environmental physics and renewable energy from the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Technology, at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). Gilpin worked as a researcher at NMBU (2006-2008), at the Western Norway Research Institute (WNRI) (2008-2015), and in his current position at HVL.
