Simon Norheim Colclough is an Associate Professor in innovation and international business studies at HVL Business School. He received his PhD in Technology and Innovation Management from Zhejiang University. Zhejiang University is a member of the prestigious C9-league of universities in China (equivalent to the Ivy League in the US), and is among the top 60 universities in the world according to the Times World University Rankings. His research there was focused on how high-tech companies in China collaborate on innovation. Presently, he is working on incorporating insights from economic geography into his research to delve deeper into how innovation systems evolve across time and space, focusing on the relationship between innovation and different forms of proximities. His work has been published in International Small Business Journal and Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, and presented at various international conferences.
