Access to rapid tests at HVL

If you have any symptoms of Covid 19, you should be tested regardless of your vaccination status. HVL collaborates with our host municipalities to give our students the best possible access to quick tests. Access is limited, and rules have been set for who can be given quick tests. Students and staff with symptoms should not visit campus, and are asked to turn to regular municipal test delivery.

The municipalities have different approaches to testing and different access to tests, which means that we can not make an equal offer on all campuses.

  • Bergen municipality wants students to use the ordinary distribution of quick tests. The municipality distributes in several places, including in Haukelandshallen (Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 18:00). Haukelandshallen is a few minutes walk from campus at Kronstad. In the event of a positive test, you should go into isolation and register a positive test at https://pasient.remin.no/bergen.

  • Førde: Sunnfjord municipality has given us access to a limited number of tests that are available from the Service & Information Centre on campus. In the event of a positive test, you should go into isolation and register a positive test at https://pasient.remin.no/Sunnfjord.

  • Haugesund municipality wants students to usse the ordinary distribution of quick tests. The municipality distributes in several places, including Haraldsgata 76 (Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00). This distribution city is a few minutes walk from campus in Haugesund. In the event of a positive test, you should go into isolation and register a positive test in Idporten.

  • Sogndal municipality has given us access to a limited number of tests that are available from the Service & Information Centre on campus. In the event of a positive test, you should go into isolation and register a positive test at https://pasient.remin.no/sogndal.

Infection control measures

We have strengthened infection control measures on all campuses, among other things through increased access to hand alcohol. Both students and employees have to familiarise themselves with the guidelines for infection prevention and control at HVL.
