Field of work
PhD Research fellow under the Centre for Research based Innovation Project: (SFI) Smart Ocean, which is composed of Academy, Industry and Public partners. The SFI Smart Ocean aims to create a flexible, robust, energy efficient, and cost-effective smart sensor network platform for marine measurement and data handling.
My PhD research work is related to the software architecture for Smart Ocean Applications, considering different marine sectors. My phd work focused on investigating the integration of IoT systems that works as a backbone for gathering marine data in Smart Ocean Applications.
I have a background in the marine robotics field where I have worked in a R&D lab as part of a team that developed innovative solutions to apply networked vehciles systems. During that period, I have also participated in several field operations in both coastal and open-seas environments. I have a master in Network and Information Systems Engineering and a bachelor’s in computer science.
