Field of work

Quaternary geologist interested in paleoclimate, glaciers and geohazards. 

Research interest:

  • Quaternary glacial geology
  • Paleoclimatic reconstructions
  • Geohazards and their interaction with climate in the past, present and future
  • Source-to-sink approach fingerprinting geological processes using lake sediments

Currently teaching Introduction to geology (GE406) and Climate Change (GE483).

    Thesis title: Reconstruction of late holocene glacier and climate variability from the distal glacier-fed lake Kløsa at Mitrahalvøya, Spitsbergen
