Goals and objectives
The AfroRehab 2030-project has six main objectives:
- Developing and implementing two new, interprofessional, blended MSc programs in Rehabilitation, in Tanzania and Kenya respectively, with six professional exits:

- Occupational therapy
- Optometry
- Physiotherapy
- Prosthetics & Orthonics
- Speech & Language Therapy/Pathology

- Leading two nationally accredited MSc Curricula in rehabilitation redy for adaption at other higher education institutions, for the training of rehabilitation cadres.
- Training highly qualified, digitally competent teaching staff, with enhanced transversal pedagogical skills.
- Equiping four African higher education institutions with new, digital teaching and learning technology and software, allowing for more inclusive, flexible, sustainable and green higher education activities.
- Initiating new collaborative research projects on rehabilitation models, human resources and digital rehabilitation, together with the labor market, professional and client associations and society at large.
- Establishing a regional (in Sub-Saharan Africa) and inter-regional (Sub-Saharan Africa and the EU) digital educational and research ecosystem in rehabilitation, ready for being expanded.
