Student Ombud at University College in Western Norway.
Provides students and staff with advice, guidance and assistance on regulations and case processing in questions and cases that concern the study situation at HVL.
Acts on the basis of the values of being a neutral, independent, informal and confidential, and will ensure that the legal security of the students is taken care of.
Can act as a mediator in conflicts.
Can help in the dialogue in matters such as;
exams, practical training, facilitation access to learning
- safe learning environment
- study rights/leave of absence
- whistleblowing, harassment, discrimination
- admission, transfer, exchange
- disciplinary cases, exclusion, suitability assessments etc.
