Vibeke Solbue

Field of work

Vibeke Solbue is an associate professor at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and employed in the pedagogy section at the Teacher Education, campus Bergen. She conducts research in intercultural and multicultural pedagogy with a focus on inclusion in school, good arrangements for newly arrived pupils and different power structures in society and school. Narrative research and method development is also a focus area. Furthermore, she is active in decentralized competence development with a focus on school-based development. Professional ethics with an emphasis on the ethical platform of the teaching profession is also a topic within the work area.
