Yash Sanjay More is a PhD candidate at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), specializing in continuous and automated threat modeling for software and cyber-physical systems using Large Language Models (LLMs). He is part of the IDER Datateknologi group, within the Faculty of Technology, Environment, and Society, based in Bergen.
His research focuses on designing frameworks and methodologies to improve software security, threat analysis, and automation of threat modeling processes, with applications in IoT, underwater sensor systems, AI-driven platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. Yash is actively involved in both academic research and practical implementations, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world security solutions.
He has strong competencies in threat modeling frameworks (STRIDE, Microsoft TMT, OWASP Threat Dragon), Large Language Models, AI-driven software security, literature review and research analysis, software architecture, and project management.
Yash collaborates with international researchers and contributes to knowledge dissemination through publications, workshops, and presentations. He is motivated to develop solutions that enhance cybersecurity practices while fostering innovation and collaboration in both academic and industrial environments.
