- Maritime Resource Management / Bridge Resource Management
- Maritime Non-Technical Skills: cognitive and interpersonal skills
- Leadership, situational awareness, decision-making, managing stress and fatigue, teamwork, workload management, identification and utilization of resources
- Seafarers' use of social media
