Student counselling for the Faculty of Education, Arts and Sports

Our student counselling service can help you when it comes to questions about admission, your studies, individual education plans, exams, exchange programmes and various other types of guidance you may need while you are studying with us.

You can also find help with transferring any courses you have taken at other academic institutions, including grades and certificates you have already achieved.

We are here for you! As a student, you can book an appointment for student counselling, or get in touch via email. We only offer web-based counselling until further notice. 

Get in touch via email if you have questions regarding your individual education plan, exams, subject choices and StudentWeb. Our skilled student counsellors and staff members in the practice administration can resolve a number of things via email.

GLU1-7, FHA, TST, MA-BUL, MA-UND, MA-SAMF

GLU Stage 5-10 and PPU:

There can be times when you need adaptation or a break from your studies. Perhaps you want to ask about course accreditation from another institution, or you want to study abroad? We can give advice and counselling for such situations. We are here for you!

Do I need to book an appointment, or can I just knock on the door?

In order for our student counsellors to be able to work effectively, it’s always better if we know you’re coming. Thus it’s a good idea to book an appointment via email directly to your student counsellor. Feel free to state briefly what you want help with. 

  • Kindergarten teacher training: Ragnhild Vikane
  • Continuing education: Jorunn Sætre Miljeteig
  • Primary school teaching, subject teaching, educational theory and practice (PPU) and one-year programmes: Vibeke Henriette Kvarven.

When you meet for your appointment, always come to Student Services first, so that we can check that your student counsellor is ready to see you.

If you haven’t arranged an appointment, but you need to speak to someone, come to Student Services and we’ll find a solution. We are here for you.
