Social work with eldrely people

Project summary

This project is a collaboration between HIB,Randi Gjøringbø and wencke Aamodt Lind, UIS with focus on social work with eldrely people. the main purpose is to collect information from the other social work educations in Norway and the Nordic countries, to be able to make a picture of what the education themes are, and what kind of status the theme eldrly people has in the different studies. At the moment there is not much literature and research done in this field. We hope that our project amongst other shall illuminate the role and the function soical work can have in the care of eldrely people. Different methods willbe used in the project: literature studies, interviews, focus group intervieuws and other projects. The research project shall be a part of our teching. We will pass on our results through our education, a report, an article and papaer persentation at relevant conferences.
