Project summary

Scientific standards of quality is under pressure from several factors, including increasing publication pressure, abuse of citations, widespread manipulation of digitally available knowledge, and failing researcher training on basic academic principles for handling of knowledge. The project includes studies of various types of academic source abuse, and explores how scientific knowledge is transformed and may be corrupted in the transition between various academic dissemination channels.
