Project summary

The main purpose of this project is to develop theoretical and practical knowledge about the experiences of employees and clients when a new, full time qualification program for persons on social security benefits is implemented in the NAV-offices.  An important focus is their experiences with the use of new methodologies for assessing work capacity and design of plans in the program.

Qualitative research methods such as observation and interviews are used in the project. Clients and employees in three NAV-offices in a large city in Norway are interviewed about their experiences in the qualification program. Results from the project will be passed on through a chapter in a book, scientific articles, paper presentations at relevant conferences.
