Project summary

Development and Creation of Teaching Methods in Lifelong Learning Programmes

This project focuses on development of leadership and managerial skills through lifelong learning programmes in Norway and the Czech Republic. The project consists of two work packages. One is about exchange of teaching methods between the project partner institutions and development of joint teaching materials. The second is a survey where the opinion of alumni and current students on teaching methods and learning outcomes are analysed in order to identify best practices.

Objectives

The main objective is sharing of best practices in teaching approaches and techniques from Czech and Norwegian perspective in MBA courses and other lifelong learning (LLP) courses, including examples of specific methods used in these courses. The focus is particularly on leadership and managerial skills.

Another objective is to create a syllabus of the Scientific Writing Skills Course for MBA students and students of other lifelong learning (LLP) courses as well as creating learning materials for this course (in form of pot presentations or prepared written materials for on-line course).

Project summary

In the project we examine and exchange experiences with different teaching approaches and methods in the studies of leadership and management at the two partner institutions.  This will constitute a foundation for common improvement effort and development of good teaching approaches and methods at experience-based educations - also called lifelong learning educations.
