Project summary
In this project, we focus on pregnancy outcomes among immigrant and Norwegian-born women in Norway. Among women giving birth in Norway, 28% are themselves born in another country, which in itself constitutes a risk factor for complications during pregnancy and childbirth. We examine the prevalence of pregnancy-related risk factors and whether the risk of severe pregnancy outcomes is comparable between foreign-born women and women born in Norway.
