Project summary

The project «We’re dwelling!» are developing knowledge about how welfare technology can support persons with complex health and social challenges related to substance use and/or mental health problems to gain access to and to keep a suitable dwelling over time. The knowledge gained will add to the existing body of knowledge om how technology can support or disturb supported housing, co-operation between dwellers and supported housing staff and other health and welfare personnel. 

Research questions:

1.Which specific challenges are facing dwellers with complex health and social challenges and staff in supported housing can be remedied with welfare technology?

2. Which drivers and barriers are affecting implementation of welfare technology in supported housing and individual support?

3. Which implicit demands do welfare technology pose on dwellers, staff and housing with regard to organization, work division, co-operation, knowledge and competency?
