Analysis of micro- and nano-plastic particles

Project summary

This master thesis was a collaboration between Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) and Trinity College Dublin. The laboratory work was performed between May and July 2019 by master student Namrata Kaile at HVL Haugesund, under supervision by Ingunn Alne Hoell and Mathilde Lindivat. Supervisor in Irland was Associate professor Quentin Crowley. Title of the thesis was: "Developing Flow Cytometry for in situ detection of Micro and Nano-plastic contaminants in water".
