Dr. Tao Yang is an associate professor of Architecture School and the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Urban Design in Tsinghua University. He was the executive director of the Future City Lab, China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), and a Vice Chief Architect of Beijing Institute of Architecture Design. His research interests focus on space syntax, city information modeling (CIM) and digital urban design. He has led several national major projects including the CIM for Xiong’an as the National Pilot Area. He has published 5 academic books and won the Golden Prize of China Association for Geospatial Information Society.
