Anniversary - 10 years of the PhD Programme
On the occasion of the 10-year anniversary of the PhD program Studies of Bildung and Pedagogical Practices, we invite all our colleagues at FLKI to the anniversary symposium “Bildung, Society and Research”.

The PhD programme Studies of Bildung and pedagogical practices has been in place since 2015. To mark this, we are inviting you to a symposium which celebrates the programme, reflects on its overall profile and contributes to its continued development. The symposium serves as a platform for the discussion of current issues in Bildung, society and research. The aim is to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical knowledge in a scientific research, as well as in an artistic and musical atmosphere.
International well-known guests have already confirmed their attendance, such as the educational researcher Gert Biesta, who will be speaking about Conceptualisation of Bildung in educational research, Ingeborg Breiner, who as peace educator and former Secretary General of the Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO, reflects on Bildung and educational research as a prerequisite for justice, democracy and equality and Kerry Chappel who will pay especial attention to the pedagogy of creativity and transdisciplinary in education and research.
In addition to keynotes, the symposium will include a panel discussion, masterclasses, and candidates’ Pecha Kucha-presentations.
