Inside, you’ll find the classroom tasks we developed and used with 3rd and 4th graders to foster metalinguistic awareness and encourage students to draw on their multilingual resources.

The handbook also provides:

• Practical guidelines to help you get the most out of each task.
• Theoretical rationale explaining the design choices behind them.
• Classroom insights from our work with Norwegian schools.
