    How to apply

Through Theatre-in-Education and Creative Dance, students engage in hands-on, collaborative learning that fosters artistic expression, communication, and educational leadership. Ideal for those passionate about using drama and movement as tools for learning and engagement in diverse educational settings.

This course set offers an interdisciplinary approach to drama and movement in educational contexts, tailored for students interested in combining artistic practice with pedagogical theory.

This 30 credit points course set consists of two modules:

    • Creative Dance (DRA307): 10 credit points

The Creative Dance module introduces the basic elements of dance, including improvisation, choreography, and investigative approaches, alongside dance didactics and relevant theoretical frameworks.

    • Theatre-in-Education (DRA308): 20 credit points

The Theatre-in-Education module provides a practical and theoretical introduction to Applied Theatre, with a strong emphasis on developing and implementing a TIE programme. Students work collaboratively in creative processes, exploring how theatre can be used as a tool for learning and engagement.

Both modules highlight the role of the educator as facilitator, coach, and collaborator in artistic learning environments. Through hands-on work and reflection, students gain valuable experience in leading creative, team-based educational processes.
