KINDknow - Kindergarten Knowledge Centre for Systemic Research on Diversity and Sustainable Futures
KINDknow is a research center for kindergarten research that identifies challenges and solutions relevant to the early childhood education sector and teacher education. The research aims to benefit children, families, and kindergartens, and to contribute to a more just and sustainable future for our children.
Kindergarten research – research on and for kindergartens
The center conducts high-quality research and collaborates across generations, sectors, disciplines, institutions, countries, and organizations. Co-creation, innovation, and knowledge sharing characterize the center’s activities, which translate research into knowledge for children and adults by developing varied and tailored resources.
The kindergarten research reflects ecological, economic, cultural, social, and systemic aspects of children’s lives and rights, and the researchers explore the significance of time, place, relationships, and mentality.
BARNkunne is funded by the Research Council of Norway.
