Overall responsibility for quality assurance work at HVL and for strategic development of the overall programme portfolio
General responsibility for the student learning environment
Adopts changes to and revisions of the quality assurance system for educational programmes
Adopts local regulations, instructions and mandates for the board, councils, committees and functions, including responsibilities and tasks in the quality assurance system for educational programmes
Approves HVL’s annual reports and plans with management parameters and measures related to the quality assurance system for educational programmes
Learning Environment Committee
Participates in the planning of measures related to the learning environment, and follows the development of issues that apply to student safety and welfare
Reports directly to the Board and presents an annual report on the institution’s work on the learning environment
Monitors the University’s learning environment
Education Committee
Advises on strategic management in issues that involve education
Contributes toward the development and evaluation of educational programmes and programmes of study in all three cycles, to ensure high quality, relevance to society, and a professional profile that reflects HVL’s commitments
Monitors the University’s existing programmes of study
Manages reports and plans for the educational programme areas
Central PhD Committee
Advises on strategic management in matters that involve organised research training.
Campus council
Advises on strategic management in issues that support the goal of a living campus.
Faculty councils Education committees
Advise the Dean on the quality assurance system for courses, programmes of study and programme portfolios, as well as the professional educational competency and learning environment at the faculty.
Study programmes council
Advises faculty management and programme coordinator on issues related to quality improvement of the programme of study and learning environment in the programme of study.
PhD Programme Committee
Advises the Dean in matters of relevance to the PhD programmes.
