Fadder programme
Through the Fadder programme and the Fadder week, we are doing all we can to ensure a smooth start to your time at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. As a new student, you can participate in a fadder group, with a second or third-year student assigned to help integrate you into the Norwegian student life.
The Fadder programme is for full degree on-campus students, whereas exchange students have their own buddy programme.
Over the first few days, you and your fadder group will receive a tour of the campus and surrounding areas. There will be various social gatherings for your fadder group and new students overall. We encourage you to participate in as many activities as possible, as it is an excellent opportunity to make friends and meet other students!
