The geopark as digital and local learning site
The overall goal of the GeoSite project is to improve the teaching and learning capacity within the partner organisations and the users of Geoparks.
The GeoSite project will stimulate innovative learning by combining the expertise of the geoparks with experienced teaching innovators in developing digital support for teaching plans at the different sites and develop general guidelines describing a methodology for and excursion didactics for geological sites in any geopark.
The project started with a kick-off seminar in Norway, where the group visited different geological sites of Geopark Sunnhordland in Bømlo, Stord and Kvinnherad. We had our first meetings, deciding on the content of WP 2, Setting the framework, which was to result in two reports that can be read under the heading Reports.
Project period: 01.10.2023 – 30.09.2026.
