Field of work
I have a master's degree in education from the University of Bergen and a doctorate in education from the University of Stavanger. My master's thesis is titled "Between smiley faces and grades" (2011) and deals with evaluation in the middle school in school. My doctoral dissertation is titled "Teachers' conversations as spaces of opportunity for learning." (2022). The project is a qualitative study of teacher conversations in Lesson Study that points to what is needed to strengthen professional learning in teacher conversations.
My research interests are pedagogical issues related to teaching and learning, student-active working methods, professional learning, educational leadership, Lesson Study, Student Voice and curriculum work.
