Elisabeth Straume Haugland

Field of work

I have been employed at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences since 2020 at the Faculty of Education, Arts and Sports, Department of Sport, Food and Natural Sciences. Formerly a research fellow associated with the research and development project Active Learning Norwegian Preschool(er)s (ACTNOW) of which I defended my thesis in May 2025. Currently working as a project associate with a coordinating role in the research project Move-play-explore in early childhood education (MoveEarly). I mainly work with research related to physical activity and health in children.
