Gro Anita Fonnes Flaten is Pro-Rector of Research at the newly merged Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
She came from the positions as University College Director and Research Director at Bergen University College. Fonnes Flaten has also experience as Head of Research at Western Norway Hospital Pharmacies and Project Manager at Western Norway Regional Health Authority.
She holds a PhD in marine microbiology from the University of Bergen.
