Philip Toney

Field of work

At the HVL Business School, I teach analytical subjects such as finance, statistics, microeconomics, and mathematics. I am a PhD candidate in economics, employed at HVL with the University of Stavanger as the degree-awarding institution. My doctoral research focuses on borrowing behavior, risk preferences, and interest rate decisions. My research combines large administrative datasets with small-scale experiments and surveys to study economic behavior.
