Field of work
My research adress how pedagogical practice in early childhood education and care responds to societal challenges, with a particular focus on knowledge formation, sustainability, and opportunities for participation. Using action research methods and mixed methods approaches, I explore how working life, children’s everyday lives, and organizational practices can be developed and strengthened through participation and widening of perspectives. I am especially concerned with pedagogical dilemmas, engagement, critique, and the challenges that emerge in practice—particularly in relation to nature, science, and sustainable development.

From 2023 to 2027 I'm projectleader of NAVADA - a large Design-Based-Research study involving 10 daycare centers, 260 children and 13 researchers. Follow us on; https://navada.dk
