Here you will find information about your start of studies.
Semester opening 2025 in Førde
Monday, August 11th
09:00-11.00: All new students meet up in the room designated for their study programme. For engineering and technology students, that room is Balchen. For nursing students, it's Sunnfjord.
11.00: The fadders pick up the new students and bring them to where they will be having lunch.
11.00-11.45: Lunch.
11.45-12.45: Opening ceremony at the cafeteria.
13.00 and onwards: Fadder activities.
Tuesday, August 12th
10.15-14.00: Educational programme
10.15-18.00: Different organisations may have stands around campus.
14.00 and onwards: Fadder activities.
Wednesday, August 13th
10.15-14.00: Educational programme
10.15-18.00: Different organisations have stands on campus.
14.00 and onwards: Fadder activities.
Thursday, August 14th
10.15-14.00: Educational programme
