Study start in Førde

Semester opening 2026 in Førde

Monday, August 10th

09:00-11.00: All new students meet up in the room designated for their study programme. For engineering and technology students, that room is Balchen. For nursing students, it's Sunnfjord.

11.00: The fadders pick up the new students and bring them to where they will be having lunch.

11.00-12:00 Lunch.

12.00-12.45: Opening ceremony at the cafeteria.

13.00 and onwards: Fadder activities.
