Program semester opening 2023 in Sogndal

Monday, August 14th

09.00–10.15: Meet your study program

• From Mountain to Fjords-programme meet at Stadionbygget, 02-15
• Outdoor Education and Nordic Friluftsliv-programme meet at Stadionbygget, 02-02
• English programme meet at Bragebygget, URD 32

10.30–11.30: Welcome ceremony on Kjell Bondevik-square (right outside the upper floor entrance to Høgskulebygget)

11.30–14.00: Tour around campus, Global Lounge and Sogndal

Friday, August 18

11.00: Free bread lunch for exchange students in the student Canteen (Please inform the Student Advisor of any allergies or food-preferences)

12.15–13.30: Presentation from the student welfare organisation Saman: “Welcome to Sogndal!” (information about Norwegian culture and offers within training/health etc.). Location: Idun 1+2 in Bragebygget.

Fadder programme and buddy programme

There will also be other social activities throughout the week.

The Fadder programme is for full degree students in Sogndal, whereas exchange students have their own buddy programme.
