Geriatric rehabilitation and preparedness for demographic changes

Project summary

Geriatric rehabilitation is a core component of the care of older adults. When we expect more older adults to live at home for longer, also the field of geriatric rehabiltiation needs to be adjusted to meet the needs within the limitations of available resources. In this project we reviewed literature informing about the preparedness for demographic changes within geriatric rehabiltiaton in The Netherlands.
