Project summary
Abstract The aim of this project is improving singing skills with adults who are poor pitch singers. By analyzing individual student recordings (singing exam) from 6 classes at the preschool teacher program, criterias for songs that are easy to sing has been developed, and songs matching these criterias have been recorded and made available to new student groups as helping aids for individual practice. Spring 2013 six students graded D-F on their singing exams were invited to participate in learning processes by e-mail. Individually adapted songs together with corresponding soundfiles were given as assignments. The participants returned soundfiles with their rehearsed material, and new evaluation and assignments were given. The process were then repeated.New knowledge acquired through analysis of exam recordings spring 2014 will be used in the correspondance processes.
