Rikke Frøyland

Rikke Frøyland is assistant professor at the Department of Language, Literature, Mathematics and Interpreting at the Western University of Applied Sciences, with a research focus on children’s and young adult literature and ecocritical literature didactics. In the dissertation Literary dialogues on energy and sustainability: Contribution to an ecocritical literature didactics (2025), she examines how dilemmas related to the sustainability goal “Affordable and clean energy” are expressed in a selection of literary dialogues.
