We are pleased to invite you to a breakfast seminar and workshop as part of the NOREC project “Children with Disabilities and UN Rights Conventions.” Wednesday 30. September 2026 from 08:00-12:00 at Høgskulen på Vestlandet, campus Kronstad, room M208
The theme is how the Norwegian health and social care sector can address the challenges and opportunities associated with a growing number of families with migrant backgrounds.
Join us to:
- learn more about how greater cultural understanding can contribute to improved living conditions for service users in Norway
- strengthen your cultural competence in meeting a growing number of service users with migrant backgrounds
- take part in mutual knowledge exchange with professionals from Tanzania on cultural perspectives, particularly views
on intellectual disability in African societies south of the Sahara
The breakfast seminar will be conducted in accessible English and is designed for participants from across the field of practice.
