Hege Cathrine Aarlie

Field of work

I am an associate professor in environmental therapeutic work. I was educated as a welfare worker and hold a master's degree in evidence-based practice (EBP). I am currently leading an international team at the Department of Welfare and Participation (IVD), with responsibility for the coordination and implementation of internationalization comprehensively in bachelor's and master's programs at IVD.

Has served as program coordinator and head of the subject area for the Bachelor in Welfare Work at Campus Bergen.

Leader of the international network Crossing Borders. Leads the HKdir project "Out into the World!" and the project "Social Work Education: Innovation for Transformative Change - SoWEGloW." Institutional responsible for the Norec project: Children with disabilities and Human Rights conventions.

Scientific staff in the Education Committee at HVL.
