Department of Welfare and Participation

We educate, research and communicate in the field of social work, mental health and substance abuse, child welfare and public health.

We wish to strengthen the knowledge for the professional work in the health and social services. Social participation is a core value in both our research and teaching.

We are located on campus Bergen and campus Sogndal. The department has 96 employees and 1535 students.
