Regional Innovation Policies Conference 2018
The 13th Regional Innovation Policies Conference 2018 (RIP2018) will be held at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). The conference will take place on the 11th and 12th of October 2018 in Bergen, Norway.
Responsible Innovation and Regional Development
The conference venue is Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL, Høgskulen på Vestlandet), Campus Kronstad (adr.: Inndalsvegen 28).
The easiest mode of transportation both from the city centre and from the airport is to travel by the Light City Rail ('Bybanen'). Bybanen departs from the airport and the city centre around every 10 minutes. From the city centre it takes about 9 minutes, from the airport about 34 minutes. Depart at the stop 'Kronstad'. When you depart at this stop, the main building at HVL is within a minute's walk. You will see a tall, grey building. Enter the main building, and there will be signs and directions as you enter.
About the conference
The conference particularly welcomes contributions investigating responsible innovation from a regional perspective, where critical discussions and analyses of the role of regions and regional policy in contributing to sustainable, responsible regional development is brought to the forefront. In addition, we welcome submissions on 'traditional' Regional Innovation Policy topics. Read more about the conference here.
