Students becoming interpreters: bildung and educational practices

This project aim is to study how students are educated and formed (bildung) on their way to becoming an interpreter for deafblind people- how they understand deafblindness and how they perceive being an interpreter for deafblind people, during their BA-program?

Through studying the students understanding constructed in an interaction, the goal is to get an insight into how they develop their evidence-based practices and the discourses they draw upon in constructing their professional identity as an interpreter for deafblind people.SupervisorsProfessor Sandra L.
