Land Administration and Land Surveying

Bachelor's degree programme

The programme aims at educating students in central areas of Land Surveying and Administration. Among the tasks of a Land Surveyor are the determination of the shape of properties, measurement of boundaries, administration of property information and working with issues related to property rights. Over recent years, land surveying techniques have also been adopted by industry, for example with the dimension control for oil installations.

The programme provides expertise and knowledge of modern land surveying methods and technology, in addition to processes related to the application of property legislation. The programme comprises subjects such as mathematics, geographical information systems (GIS), land planning, finance and resource management.
