Campus Haugesund

In Haugesund, the city is our campus; we have several modern buildings in the city centre, all within walking distance of each other.

Haugesund is a good destination for students who are looking for the total study experience; quality teaching combined with a lot of options for an active life outside of the lecture theatres. Sports, the outdoors and culture are keywords for any student in Haugesund.

As a student you can join our student organisations. For a quiet night in, join the International Students’ Union for a film night. If you’re in the mood for dancing, then let your hair lose at the student pub. How about a work out in the on-campus gym after a day of studying? You may find out more about on-campus facilities, services and student organisations in Haugesund by following the links in the menu to the right.

Orientation Days and Buddy programme

All our international exchange students are strongly advised to participate in the Orientation Days in the beginning of each semester (mid-August and the beginning of January). The Orientation Days is a mix of lectures and social activities. It is an excellent opportunity for you to meet other newly arrived exchange students and receive important information and practical support.

The buddy programme is designed to make you feel welcome and at home during your stay by offering you to be part of a buddy group.
