Field of work

Hello.

I work at the Department for Master's in Clinical Nursing. My clinical background is from acute care, including emergency department and critical care, with a Master of clincial nursing from Flinders Uni, Australia.

My field of study is evidence-based practice and implementation, and this has been "the red thread" in my teaching and research. I am particularly concerned with what it takes to succeed with implementing evidence-based practice in the health service, so that patients and users can receive high-quality care and services.

An example of a research project where we worked on the implementation of evidence-based practice in nursing homes is the IMPAKT project and you can read more here:

I also work in a company called Aliva, where we are pursuiting an idea for a medical device to help people suffering from serious oral dryness (xerostomia). My contribution in Aliva is to ensure an evidence-based innovation process and regulatory compliance to MDR 2017/745.
