PhD from UiB 2015, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Clinical Medicine 1, with the thesis "Health- related Quality of Life, Distress and Psycholsocial Factors in Head and Neck and Renal Cancer Patients".

HVL, IHO's representative in the Norwegian Network for Educational Research in Nursing (NorNERN),

Member of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC)'s expert panel for the preparation of a diagnosis-specific quality of life questionnaire for kidney cancer patients.

The main interest in my research is the patient perspective in acute, critical and chronic illness, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
