Field of work

I am a Quaternary geologist and am particularly interested in sea level, tsunamis and landslides. The softness of my research has been in the intersection between geology and other disciplines, such as geophysics, botany, archaeology, meteorology – see examples in the publication list below.

I really enjoy teaching, and am passionate about our students becoming good at writing and becoming good field geologists.
